Trieste + Madrid: a long weekend in Seville
The screenshots show Flymatch in Italian: buttons and menus are in the same places in every language.
Trieste is a small airport with few routes; Madrid is a hub with hundreds of connections. The most interesting place where the two meet is Seville.
How to set up Flymatch
- Who's flying: you with TRS (Trieste); with Add a friend, enter the second traveller with MAD (Madrid).
- When: Flexible dates → pick the month (March to May is the ideal time) → turn on Long weekend.
- Options: leave the times open; if you both want to arrive in the evening, narrow the Outbound window.
- In the list, open Seville (SVQ) and check the days you have in common: flights from Trieste are less frequent, so here the TRS schedule decides. Madrid–Seville flies every day.

The suggested trips with a solid border (here Friday → Sunday) are the ones confirmed for both of you. Once you've chosen the exact dates, check the price and book.
Three days in Seville
- Real Alcázar and Cathedral: book the Real Alcázar online, then the Cathedral. From the Giralda you can see the whole city.
- Barrio Santa Cruz: alleys and patios, best explored on foot early in the morning.
- Plaza de España and Parque de María Luisa: at sunset, on the evening of the first day.
- Triana: cross the Puente de Isabel II for the Mercado de Triana, the ceramics and tapas in the bars on calle Betis.
- Setas (Metropol Parasol): the walkway on top, at sunset.
- Flamenco: in a peña or a small tablao like Casa de la Memoria, not in the tourist shows of the big hotels.
Tip: in April the Feria and Semana Santa fill the city and push prices up. If you want to see them, book early; otherwise, avoid those weeks.
